Garden Pests

Garden Pests was originally going to be my short-film thesis. However, once layout began (bottom right) it became clear that the rigs were unusable. Given that I only had two remaining semesters at the Academy of Art, I was directed to scrap this project and pivot to a different thesis. When I began this project, I did not understand the scope of what I was undertaking and focused on story development rather than ensuring practical rigs. Attached below are the storyboards, set design, mood/inspiration board, animatic, and the beginning stages of layout.
